Need help to sort out problems in your relationships?

Good relationships are the foundation on which we build our mental and emotional wellbeing and when they become problematical it can cause us intense stress and unhappiness. These difficulties can have their roots in our past, in the way we related to our family of origin or we may be struggling to remain attached to others because of external stresses in the present. If we wish to strengthen our relationships, understand why they persistently fail, or prepare ourselves for a new, more positive, way of being with others then counselling can help us to become more insightful about our needs and desires and explore all the elements that influence our interactions with others.

"Even though you may want to move forward in your life, you may have one foot on the brakes. In order to be free, we must learn how to let go. Release the hurt. Release the fear. Refuse to entertain your old pain. The energy it takes to hang onto the past is holding you back from a new life. What is it you would let go of today?”

Mary Manin Morrissey

Relational work can be done by an individual, as a couple or undertaken as a family group.

Each session lasts one hour and appointments can be made as frequently as weekly or at intervals which best suit your needs. In therapy you set your own agenda and work at your own pace with the benefit of the guidance, help and support of the therapist.
